Platte River Power Authority Headquarters

The Platter River Power Authority Headquarters project, located in Fort Collins, Colorado, is an approximately 17.6-acre commercial site that comprised of the demolition and redevelopment of a public power company’s main headquarters for the Northern Colorado region.  More specifically, the project included the demolition of existing buildings and pavements and construction of 7 proposed commercial buildings with associated internal roadway network, parking, wet and dry utilities, stormwater infrastructure and detention, underground detention, and reconfiguration and relining of the existing wet pond.

Loveland Public Works Service Center

United Civil Design Group provided civil engineering services for the thirteen-million-dollar expansion of the existing Loveland Service Center.  The project consisted of approximately 10 acres of the site undergoing reconstruction.  In addition to typical site improvement plans, United Civil also prepared plans for the widening of 1st Street, a new flood protection channel and box culvert crossing, and a new drive through for the ranch water fill up station.

Loveland Fire Station #2

United Civil Design Group provided civil engineering services for this four-million-dollar public Fire Station facility which included 3 acres of development, the widening of West 29th Street, and the extension of Future Hudson Drive adjacent to the site.

Galeton Fire Station

The Galeton Fire Station project, located in Galeton, Colorado, is a five-million-dollar, award winning project that included the development of a 15,000 square foot fire station facility on a 9-acre development.  Galeton Fire Station won the 2016 Chief Buildings Project of the Year in the Government Category and the 2017 MBCEA Award of Merit in the Specialty Category.

Foothills Solar Substation

United Civil Design Group provided planning, design and construction management services for the development of a 52-acre site that included a solar park, substation, roadways, utilities, drainage infrastructure, landscaping and open space.  The total construction cost for those improvements was three million
dollars.  The solar park and substation  will provide critical new power facilities to replace the Idylwilde hydroelectric facility that was lost in the 2013 Flood.

South Adams County Fire Department Headquarters Building

The South Adams County Fire Administration Building project, located in Commerce City, Colorado, is an approximately 0.72-acre site that comprises of the construction of a multi-story office building with associated utilities, parking, sidewalk, and some offsite roadway design.

Crystal Lakes Fire Station #1 Building Expansion

The Crystal Lakes Fire Station project, located in Larimer County, is an approximately 0.96-acre site that is comprised of the remodel and expansion of an existing fire station building with associated concrete bay aprons and accessible parking stall.
