Commercial Development
Orthopedic Center of the Rockies Building Expansion
The OCR Surgery and Recovery Center project includes a 63,000 square foot building expansion of the existing facility in Loveland, Colorado. The western 4.0-acres of the site also includes the addition of 159 parking stalls, patient drop off areas, a revamped service courtyard, a new detention pond, and an emergency access connection to Highway 34. In addition, a 42-stall parking lot and 77-stall temporary parking lot were designed offsite to the north of the site.
The Square Shopping Center Redevelopment
The Square Shopping Center was originally developed in the 1970’s as an indoor shopping mall. This site and building were redeveloped to create almost 36,000 square feet of additional retail space and 107 more parking stalls on the 13.8-acre site in mid-town Fort Collins. In addition, new landscaping, utilities, and stormwater infrastructure and water quality features were incorporated into the redeveloped site.
Sweet Heart Winery is located on the west side of Loveland in unincorporated Larimer County. The developed site includes a 6,600-sf wine-tasting facility with parking, landscaping, and vineyards on 6.7 acres immediately adjacent to the Big Thompson River.
Taiva Professional Campus
The Taiva Professional Campus project, located in Westminster, Colorado, is an approximately 4.7-acre site that comprises of developing a vacant lot into three commercial buildings, parking, and landscaping. More specifically, the project included the construction of three multi-story commercial buildings with associated parking, concrete paved areas, landscaped areas, stormwater infrastructure, and wet and dry utilities.
215 Mathews Street Offices
The 215 Mathews Street Offices project included the redevelopment of a residential property into a small office building with enclosed parking structure on a 0.2-acre site in Fort Collins, CO. United Civil worked closely with the project architect, building team and City of Fort Collins to make this redevelopment a success without impacting existing apartment complex buildings immediately adjacent to the site while complying with City regulations.
Food Bank For Larimer County Headquarters and Distribution Facility
The Food Bank for Larimer County project was comprised of site improvements of an existing commercial facility acquired by the Food Bank for Larimer County. Site improvements of the facility required considerable reconstruction including re-design of the existing loading docks and parking to the east of the building, a new 60-stall volunteer parking lot, and a new detention pond. The drainage conveyance around the building was redesigned and reconfigured to mitigate the potential for flooding in the building.
7287 Greenridge Road
The 7287 Greenridge Road project, located in Windsor, Colorado, is an approximately 1.75-acre site that comprises splitting a single commercial lot into two lots and developing one of the lots into a multi-story commercial building. More specifically, the project included the construction of a proposed commercial building with associated parking, a loading dock, landscaped areas, and wet and dry utilities.
Orchard Park Place
Orchard Park Place is a 17-acre retail development located just west of I-25 and south of 144th Avenue in Westminster, Co. The site was developed over multiple phases over several years. The site includes four inline retail buildings, a junior anchor buillding that includes Sierra Trading Post, TJ Maxx/Home Goods, and PetSmart, and a Marriott Hotel.
